Finished talking to my life insurance guy - just in case. Called flood board to see if indeed the money is in the mail - for those who don't know, our family spent a lot of cash evacuated to a nearby town for a month. No money refunded yet...Tried to pick up last minute items in our hometown of Morris to no avail. No Euro but did get some American currency. Sun is shining beautifully after a tremendous thunderstorm last night.
Spent some time informing my 3 sons as to what their purpose was while I am missing in action. Mowing, barbequeing, taking out the garbage, dishes when needed and cutting trees. Maintenance. They will do well, I'm sure.
My stomach is feeling jittery with excitement. This is my first trip out of North America.
